Content

The Content screen is used for working with content delivered in a specific language. The Website Administrator uses this screen to create language profiles, define browser defaults, view and edit individual pages, edit the sitemap, define content level placeholders, and add pages.

  • A Details sub tab is included in each language tab and shows the language name, the locale code, and the path to the content folder on the web server. The tab is also used to set the website's default language, or delete a language if no longer required.
  • The Browser sub tab is used to create browser profiles that define the experience and home page delivered to visitors. Browser profiles are created after the content and experience have been defined, and the pages have been added. Choose New Browser when you want to create additional browser profiles.
  • The Pages sub tab displays the web pages that have been added to Website Manager. The tab is also used to create new pages, assign a template to a page, and delete pages. Choose New Page when you want to manually create a new page in the website.
  • The Sitemap sub tab is used to modify the website's menu structure. All pages displaying a checkmark are included in the menu and the website.
  • The Placeholders tab stores the settings that tell Website Manager how to treat content and functionality used by the web pages.
  • The Add Pages sub tab is used to manually add content pages located in the web server content folder to Website Manager.
