Menus

There are three menu options provided with Author-it Website Manager:

• Coolmenu uses javascript to create a drop-down (or pull-down) menu.
• Basic Menu and Main Menu are text based and should be used where drop-down menus are not appropriate.

Menus are added to the template using a placeholder, and the functionality is defined in the placeholder's value. The menu hierarchy and text string displayed for the link are defined in the sitemap.
