Making a Version Active

Once you have finished making changes to the new version of the object, you can make it Active. There are implications to this action.

To Make a Version of an Object Active:

1. Close the current Active version of the object, and any related objects.
2. Select the currently Inactive version of the object that you want to make Active.
3. In the main window choose Manage > Versioning > Make Selected Object Active. A message appears, asking you to confirm your action. The open version of the object becomes Active, and the previously Active version is made Redundant.
