High Availability

Author-it Cloud is guaranteed to 99.9% availability outside of scheduled maintenance periods. This is achieved through multiple layers of redundancy in servers, databases, network connections, power and air conditioning supplies. This guarantee is backed by a contractual refund policy in the event of unplanned downtime.

High Performance

We understand that performance is critical to your overall satisfaction with our service. Our Author-it Cloud Data Center is fitted with multiple load-balancing high performance servers, RAID 6 Disks, 10Gb Ethernet core accessed via multiple Terabyte bandwidth network connections. Every update to the Author-it Cloud service is subjected to rigorous automated scalability and high volume processing testing.

Disaster Recovery

Developing the Author-it Cloud service has included a rigorous risk management evaluation incorporating the identification and classification of risks to the integrity of the service. Key in our Disaster Recover planning is our off-site replication and daily on-site and weekly off-site encrypted back up procedures. Issues within our Data Center are mitigated through high levels of redundancy and have been third party audited to the SAS 70 standard.

Scalability

The Author-it Cloud architecture has been designed for scaling from a few users to many hundreds per implementation. This scalability is supported via our Tier 1 Data Center and Quality Assurance programs.

Monitoring

Transparent service performance is a key factor in our Author-it Cloud user reassurance strategy. Users are able to monitor service by means of a dashboard on the Author-it Cloud Portal, where we also provide alerts of scheduled maintenance periods.
