Hi Nick,

The ability to put links into Word or PDF files is achieved by a simple script in your publishing profile. Because Author-it is a Windows application, though, opening the link in Author-it will depend entirely on your network configuration, and the network configuration of the users clicking the link. As Author-it Live is a web application, all the user needs is a connection to the internet.

If you have Author-it 5.2 try drag/dropping a Topic from the Library window into an email. This creates a link to that Object, and the process in the movie uses the same principle except it does it during publishing.

There are a number of review options in Author-it so email me directly to discuss how you are currently doing it and what you'd like to achieve. sales(at)author-it.com

Matt, could you please clarify one statement in your post: "This functionality will be freely available to all Author-it users".

Do you mean "all Author-It Live users"? Apart from review colouring, what does Author-It on the desktop have in the way of reviewing features?
